Better Vision. Better Life.
Our Mission at Dualens is to provide vision for all. And not just any vision. We want our customers to enjoy their life with the utmost clarity. That is why we take pride in our lenses. Our lenses come with different coatings to help preserve the lenses as well as enhancing the visual capabilities. With each Dualens glasses purchase, you will receive a pair of our 1.56 lenses – on us.

Because Ultimately, we want to provide:
“Vision For All.”
Lens Attributes
Lenses can come with many different properties. Here at Dualens, we offer aspheric lenses rather than traditional plastic or glass lenses. Aspheric lenses are designed to be slimmer, thinner, and lighter than conventional lenses as well as the added benefits of eliminating vision distortion. These lenses greatly improve your peripheral vision, widens your field of view, and ensures your glasses offer the clearest vision possible. Our lenses are also coated with an anti-reflective (AR) layer, UV protection layer, and an anti-scratch layer.
Goodbye Glare
Anti-reflective or “AR” coatings are applied to the lenses to help eliminate glare. By ridding of glare, AR lenses help improve vision drastically when driving at night or long-term computer usage. Learn more about Anti-Reflective Lenses on our blogs.

Healthier Vision
UV coatings help protect our eyes from harmful ultra-violet (UV) rays. These forms of radiation can lead to photokeratitis (sunburns in our eyes) and can increase our risk for macular degeneration and cataracts. Maintaining healthy eyes is extremely important. Learn more about the importance of UV protection.
Longer - Lasting Lenses
Anti-scratch layers help protect the lenses from any minor scratches that may occur during normal usage. We want you to wear our glasses - worry free!

Lens Indexes
Index of refraction is the relative measure of how efficiently a material can refract light. The higher the refractive index, the greater the light can bend. This allows higher index material to be thinner while still bending light to the same degree as lower index materials. Simply put: the higher the index number, the thinner the lenses will be. Thinner lenses mean less bulky frames and possibly less visual distortion.

Our basic lens that come free with every purchase are 1.56 lenses – a step up from the standard 1.5 lenses. However, it is highly recommended for those who have stronger prescriptions to order lenses with higher indexes. When ordering your prescription frames, you have the options to upgrade your lenses to either 1.6 or 1.67 lenses. We recommend those who have a prescription with SPH (should be on your prescription) of -2.00 to -4.00 to use our 1.56 lenses. Those with SPH from -4.00 to -6.00 would benefit from upgrading to our 1.6 lenses. And those with a SPH between -6.00 and above, we recommend upgrading to our 1.67 lenses. For any questions, please feel free to call our customer service team or use our contact us page and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
